Grab your sunscreen and get ready to hit the patio, Edmonton, because we could be in for a treat with the hottest weekend of 2025 so far forecast for the city.
After a mild start to spring, Environment and Climate Change Canada (ECCC) predicts highs will reach the mid-to-high-20s by the end of this week.
Tuesdayâs high of 16°C will be one of the cooler points of the week, but once we get through the early week mix of sun and cloud, temperatures climb into the weekend, with a high of 22°C on Thursday, 27°C on Friday, and 23°C on Saturday.
Although forecasts could shift slightly closer to the weekend, there’s no doubt that we’re in for a week of warm, sunny conditions.
