Popular Edmonton cafe and bakery opens new location near university campus
University students, look out! There’s a new cafe coming your way.
District Cafe has held the torch as one of the best brunch and cafe spots within Edmonton, and now it is opening its doors to a new location.
The original location of the cafe was situated in Downtown Edmonton, just off 109th Street. Just a hop, skip, and a jump away from the old location, this new spot’s home is just off the University of Alberta campus.

This new location opened its doors on July 1 and held a soft opening event for the exciting new venture.
Now open daily, this campus location is conveniently situated in the city center and easily accessible for both university students and working professionals. The casual vibes, combined with a bustling atmosphere, make the cafe an ideal place to grab a bite with friends or simply hunker down and study.
With excellent food and piping-hot coffee, this cafe specializes in artisan baking, its craft coffee, and homemade dishes.
Menu items from its original cafe feature breakfast sandwiches, such as its Turkey Sausage Breakfast Sandwich, which combines a fried egg, melted cheddar, house aioli, arugula, and romescoĀ for the ultimate flavour combination.
