Chatkhara By Krishna, a new Indian restaurant, just opened in Edmonton.
This isn’t a normal dining spot — it’s also an Indian vegetarian streatery.
This food restaurant used vibrant spices, rich flavours, and warm hospitality to create a menu that offers some of the best Indian food in YEG.
The entire menu is massive, with fun twists on classic dishes. There are more than 50 dishes, including Indo-Chinese, burgers, wraps, and several different types of chaat.
Pakoras, aloo, kebabs, and so many more starters are a great choice here. There’s also a choley bhature, a Punjab delicacy that’s deep-fried bread served with chickpea curry.

Some of the Indo-Chinese fusion options include vegetable Hakka noodles, chilli paneer, spring rolls, and deep-fried momos tossed in a homemade sauce with bell peppers and onion.
Always save your appetite or go with a group so that you can try the burgers, wraps, and main courses, or try as many of the dishes available in the “chatkara chaat corner.” There are so many types of chaat, chana, Bhalla, and more, like the five-piece dahi wale gol gappe made with crunchy puffs served with spiced potato filling, sweetened yogurt, and chutneys.
