This Alberta-wide festival is back to highlight some of the best Edmonton restaurants

Aug 6 2026, 9:48 pm

Alberta on the Plate is a province-wide celebration dedicated to highlighting local restaurants and products across the prairies.

From Aug. 7 to 16, participating restaurants in Alberta on the Plate will offer a multi-course menu with a fixed price, focusing on local producers, growers, distillers, and brewers. Each establishment will also offer recommended local pairings that can be added alongside the meal.

Out of 69 restaurants in Alberta, there are 12 within Edmonton and the surrounding area. With participating spots ranging from fine dining to casual eateries, you’ll get the full spectrum of the Edmonton culinary scene.

There’s a great selection of restaurants included this year for the festival. One of these choices includes Brew + Bloom, which also appeared last year.

With two locations placed in the heart of downtown Edmonton and South Edmonton, this restaurant is filled to the brim with flowery decor. This bright and airy space brings people in with the blooming florals, but they stay for the delicious and playful menu.

Here’s the full list of local restaurants that are taking part in Alberta on the Plate this year:

  • Belgravia Hub
  • Brew + Bloom
  • Coterie
  • Fu’s Repair Shop
  • Highlevel Diner
  • Jack’s Burger Shack
  • Leduc Coffee Shop
  • The Butternut Tree
  • The Marc
  • Three Vikings
  • Wildroots Bistro
  • XIX

If you want to find a list of all the participating locations across Alberta, we’d recommend checking out the Alberta on the Plate website online.
