"Biggest d*cks and lube": Alberta major cities crowned sexiest in Canada

If you were curious as to where the sexiest cities in Canada are, look no further than a retailer that tracks sex toy purchases across the country — and Alberta is a BIG spender.

Canadian sex toy retailer PinkCherry.ca took a look at consumer purchases and behaviours throughout 2023 to come out with a list of 2024’s sexiest cities and towns.

The company studied sex toy sales per person in cities with populations of over 300,000 and towns with populations under that threshold.

This is the 12th edition of PinkCherry.ca’s ranking for Canada, and, out of 21 cities, Calgary has taken the top spot once again. Edmonton followed at #2, while Winnipeg, London and Vancouver rounded out the top five.

The retailer says Edmonton consumers earned the title of “biggest dicks” thanks to purchasers of the largest-sized dildos of the year, while Calgary was designated as a “wet and wild wonder” due to the most lubes purchased.

It was also noted that buyers in YYC “couldn’t resist the allure of the TikTok Famous Gawk Gawk 3000 and the powerful Magic Wand Rechargeable,” while folks in YEG were “armed with several PinkCherry Rose Vibrators and enjoying some hands-free fun with the Autoblow A.I. Blowjob Machine.”

But when it comes to Canadian towns, Quebec seems to be doing the dirty big time, but Alberta isn’t left out of the fun. Lacombe and High River both cracked the top 10, landing at #7 and #8, respectively.
