Alberta health officials call on bars and restaurants to close dine-in services

Mar 27 2020, 10:13 pm

As a part of Alberta’s fight against coronavirus, Premier Jason Kenney announced on Friday that a number of non-essential businesses in the province must close immediately.

This included all dine-in restaurants across the province.

Kenney confirmed that establishments offering delivery and takeout may continue to operate those services, as long as the employees’ working conditions were in line with physical distancing requirements (two metres distance from others).
