A new Middle Eastern coffee house has opened near Edmonton
There’s a new coffee house in the Edmonton area… just north in St. Albert!
Ahlan Coffee House in St. Albert has just announced its soft opening phase for this Middle Eastern coffee shop. It serves delicious drinks, beautifully inspired fruit pastries, and so much more than you could ever imagine.
The space has taken over Good Earth’s previous location in the Erin Ridge neighbourhood, with a great location near St. Albert’s Mercato, as well as many more amenities.

When you step in, you’re greeted with a large, open concept space with bright furniture and gorgeous lighting. It’s clean, slick and just simply beautiful for a quaint coffee shop.
Don’t worry, though, because this isn’t your typical coffee house.
Although it does serve classics like coffee, a machiatto, a chai latte, and more, it also serves some fruity beverages like mojitos. In addition to its fruity friends, it serves its Ahlan Fruit Cocktail, with fresh fruit, delicious cream, and the perfect taste.
We tried their classic Chai Latte, which I usually go for iced, but it was the perfect warmth for a snowy Alberta afternoon.
In addition to the chai latte, we also tried one of its most popular dishes, the Caramel Milk Cake, which outdoes a tres leches because this milk cake actually includes four types of milk. This dish was absolutely showstopping. From the moist, rich cake to the delectable caramel topping, it was unbeatable in flavour and texture.
Its menu also includes the beautiful luxury fruit pastries, and although we didn’t try them this time, we will definitely be going back to try them soon.
If you’re ever in St. Albert, Ahlan Coffee House is a go-to stop, no questions asked.
