Edmonton's University area just got a new all-day breakfast joint

There’s a new breakfast joint joining Edmonton’s culinary scene.
Hatch’d is Edmonton’s newest quick-service breakfast restaurant, serving up premium egg-centric hand-held sandwiches, burritos and bowls. It’s the latest hot spot for breakfast on the go.
This Edmonton location marks its first location ever, and it is now officially open for business.
“At Hatch’d, we believe life’s best moments happen in the in-between. That’s why we’ve created a space where premium, breakfast-driven meals meet the convenience of fast-casual dining. From early morning routines to spontaneous breaks, we’re here to fuel your day and your spirit,” says the Hatch’d team on its website.

Doors opened to this new location on Nov. 20, just across from the University of Alberta Hospital and a couple of blocks from the university’s campus.
As for its menu, it serves a variety of handhelds like egg burgers, sandwiches, and burritos, as well as breakfast bowls with fluffy, soft scrambled eggs, crispy hashbrowns, house-made sauces, and the most delicious savoury add-ons.
In terms of drinks, the menu has some energy boosting smoothies, as well as cold brew and, surprisingly, iced matcha! Although it’s not a typical breakfast joint item, its matcha is definitely one to try.
Its hours are 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday to Friday, and 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. Breakfast all day, every day.
For all you breakfast fans, this is definitely the spot to hit up!
