Edmonton has seen its fair share of difficult winter weather this season, including a number of extreme weather warnings, snow, and wind chill of up to -40.
According to Environment Canada, things are starting to look up this week, as a mix of sun and clouds is expected, along with temperatures above zero all week long to help us defrost.
While Tuesday has a high of -3°C with a 30% chance of flurries overnight, things will warm up on Wednesday with a high of 3°C and a mix of sun and clouds.

The wind may still persist through the week, with wind up to 15 km/h on Wednesday, before things really warm up — by Edmonton’s standards — to a high of 7°C on Thursday, and 8°C on Friday.
The sun is expected to stick around all week for now, so enjoy the defrost while it lasts, Edmontonians.
Let’s hope things stay this way.
