Stain remover recall

Health Canada has issued a massive recall for a stain remover brand sold across the country.
On Jan. 22, the agency released a recall notice on Angry Orange Stain Removers due to the risk of exposure to bacteria.
The company reported that 43,781 units of the affected products were sold in Canada and 1,390,834 were sold in the U.S. from March 2019 to December 2025.
To receive a refund, you’ll need to take a picture of the product with “recalled” and your initials written in marker and email the photo to productrecall@angryorange.com.

Dollarama toys

Health Canada
Dollarama shoppers can get a refund for a popular toy that’s part of a massive recall across Canada.
On Jan. 20, Dollarama issued a recall for thousands of baby toys sold at various locations, according to Health Canada. The recall affects Disney Baby Water Teethers.
“Under the Canada Consumer Product Safety Act, teether fillings must not contain any living microorganisms,” reads the statement. “Health Canada’s sampling and evaluation program has determined that the liquid filling is contaminated with the fungus Rhinocladiella similis.”

Costco Canada chocolate recall

Costco Canada is offering refunds after announcing a recall for two types of chocolates, citing health risks due to possible food contamination.
On Thursday, Jan. 8, Costco Canada shared a notice issued by Nova Scotia-based chocolate company Peace by Chocolate. The company is recalling The Harmony Bar and the Classic Box of 15 assorted filled chocolates, both of which were sold online between Sept. 7 and Dec. 3.
Peace by Chocolate issued the voluntary recall of select pistachio-containing chocolate products. This was done after Tootsi Impex Inc., one of the company’s approved ingredients suppliers, initiated the recall for a specific lot of pistachios due to possible Salmonella contamination. No other products in the Peace by Chocolate variety packs are being recalled.

Body sprays and hair products

Health Canada
Health Canada issued a recall notice on Jan. 8 for various Magic BM products due to missing mandatory hazard labelling.
“These products do not meet the Cosmetic Regulations in Canada,” reads the notice. “The products are missing required hazard symbols, signal words on the front of the containers and safety information.”
The affected products include AXE Men Deodorant Body Spray and Pantene hairspray. According to Health Canada, the company reported that 3,203 units of the affected products were sold across the country from 2024 to December 2025.
“Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled Magic BM Trading Co. Ltd products and return them to the place of purchase for a refund,” reads the notice.
