In B.C., no one won the Lotto Max prize worth $500,000, and in Ontario, there were no winners for the $1-million Encore prize.
The jackpot won on Tuesday is the fourth Lotto Max jackpot to be won in just under a month.
The most recent win was on Jan. 13, when a lottery player from Quebec won a $14-million prize. That win came right after another jackpot win on Jan. 9, when a lottery player from Ontario scored the $55-million prize. Then, less than two weeks before that, another lottery player won the $80-million Lotto Max prize during the Dec. 30 draw. The ticket was sold in London, Ont.
The next Lotto Max draw is on Friday, Jan. 23, and the prize has reset to $10 million.
