Doyle said she discovered her first big win after buying a lottery ticket as part of her regular routine while on her break at work.

“I played my ticket right away, just outside the store. When I discovered I’d won $250,000, I was so surprised and kept double-checking my ticket, just to be sure,” she recalled. “Then, I punched out from work and left right away.ā€

Doyle called her partner to share the amazing news.

“He was very happy for me,ā€ she said with a smile. ā€œLater on, I told some other family members about my win. Everyone was overjoyed for me.ā€

She soon won’t have to clock into work ever again. Doyle plans to use her lottery windfall to retire early and save for the future.

“It feels very good to be a winner,ā€ she concluded.

Doyle bought her winning lottery ticket at Metro on Upper Middle Road East in Oakville.
