Young Canadian lottery winner making a smart decision with prize money
A young man in Alberta says the cash from his lottery win is going straight to bills and investing, a smart move if we do say so!
Nick Sorenson won a cool $400,000 on a $20 200X The Cash Scratch & Win ticket, with the Lac La Biche winner telling the Western Canada Lottery Corporation (WCLC) he typically buys Scratch & Win and Poker Lotto tickets regularly, but when he scratched this one, it took him by surprise.
“I scratched it and then scanned it on the [Lotto Spot] app,” he said. “It was very unexpected!”
Sorenson said he already knows exactly how heāll spend his winnings.
