The Victoria Day long weekend was memorable for several Canadian lottery players after some pretty impressive wins.

The Lotto Max draw for the $25-million jackpot took place on Friday, May 16, but no one matched the winning numbers 20, 22, 25, 31, 34, 37, 46, and bonus 50. However, two winners will claim the second prize after they matched six of the seven winning numbers and the bonus number.

After splitting the prize, they’ll each walk away with $87,886.30. According to PlayNow, the winners purchased their tickets in Western Canada and Surrey, B.C.

The third prize was split between 45 winners, each of whom will receive $3,906.10 after they matched six out of the seven winning numbers. No one in B.C. won the $500,000 Lotto Max Extra prize, and similarly, no one in Ontario won the $1-million Encore prize.

The last time someone won the jackpot was on May 9 when Surrey, B.C., resident Justin Simporios won the $80-million jackpot.

The next Lotto Max draw is set for Tuesday, May 20, and the jackpot has now climbed to $30 million.

Although no one won the $5-million Classic Draw prize, two people will split the second prize, each receiving $103,242.40. The tickets were sold in Ontario and Quebec.

The third prize will go to 69 lottery winners, who’ll each receive $1,256.60.
