The lottery jackpot keeps on growing, and while the top prize is still up for grabs, several Canadians will be taking home some impressive wins.

The lottery draw took place on Friday, Nov. 28, and all eyes were on the Lotto Max jackpot. It’s been over a month since the last big win, and the jackpot had climbed to $60 million, edging closer towards the game’s $80-million maximum prize.

The winning numbers were 01, 07, 12, 16, 28, 47, and 50, with a bonus of 45. Although no one won the life-changing prize, three Canadians will each take home a $81,165.70 prize after splitting the second prize. The tickets were sold in Alberta, Ontario, and Vancouver, B.C.

As for the third prize, that will be split among 53 lottery players, who matched six of the seven winning numbers. They’ll each receive $4,594.30.

There were six Maxmillions prizes during the draw, but no winners this time.

Likewise, in B.C., no one won the Lotto Max Extra prize worth $500,000, and in Ontario, no one won the $1-million Encore top prize.

The last time someone won the jackpot was on Oct. 28, when a lottery player won a $40-million prize. The ticket was sold in Grey County, Ont.

The Lotto Max top prize is now at $65 million with eight Maxmillions prizes. The next draw is on Tuesday, Dec. 2.
