It was an unforgettable weekend for one lucky Canadian lottery player who scored a multimillion-dollar prize.

The Lotto Max draw took place on Friday, Sept. 26, and the winning numbers were 10, 11, 21, 23, 32, 36, and 45, with bonus number 13. The jackpot was worth $10 million, but no one won the top prize. Similarly, no one will be taking home the second prize worth $149,514.10. A total of 37 Canadians matched six of the seven winning numbers to score the third prize. Each one will take home $4,040.90.

No one in B.C. won the $500,000, and similarly in Ontario, no one won the $1-million Encore top prize.

The last time someone won the Lotto Max jackpot was on Sept. 23, when a lottery player in B.C. purchased a ticket online and won $31 million. The next draw is scheduled for Tuesday, Sept. 30, and the prize is worth $15 million.

Although there were no major wins during the recent Lotto Max draw, several Lotto 6/49 players scored some pretty big wins over the weekend.

No one won the $26-million Lotto 6/49 Gold Ball prize during the draw that took place on Saturday, Sept. 27. However, according to PlayNow, a player in Ontario matched the winning White Ball number 59891729-01, instantly claiming a $1-million prize.

The Lotto 6/49 Classic Draw winning numbers were 01, 07, 15, 19, 36, 40, and bonus 47. Someone in Western Canada managed to match all six winning numbers to score the $5 million prize. The ticket was purchased in Saskatoon.

The second prize will go to a lottery player in Quebec who matched five of the six winning numbers and the bonus number. The prize was worth $193,509.90. A total of 78 winners will split the third prize, and each will receive $1,041.70.

The most recent Lotto 6/49 jackpot winner is Claude Boucher, a resident of the Bois-Francs region in Centre-du-Québec, who won the Gold Ball Jackpot worth $46 million in the Aug. 27 draw.

“I was scrolling quickly and I thought, ‘$46,000 isn’t too bad! But what are all those zeros? Oh, it’s $46,000,000!’” Boucher recalled.

The next Lotto 6/49 draw is on Wednesday, Oct. 1, and the Gold Ball prize is worth $28 million.
