At Daily Hive, we’ve been exploring the topic of Canadians choosing not to have children for an ongoing series.

Currently, we’re working on a story about Canadian DINK couples to highlight their story, their reasons for the choice, and all that has come out of their DINK life experience.

Are the economy and affordability significant factors? Do you think a life without children and more income allows more freedom to travel and try new experiences? Are you focusing on your physical health, mental health, relationships, or career?

Whatever your reasoning for choosing the DINK life, we want to know more without judgment. Data shows Canadians are having fewer kids due to many reasons, including the nationwide housing and cost of living crises.
