Canadian music icon announces pregnancy and fans are thrilled
Canadian music legend Carly Rae Jepsen is pregnant, and fans are flooding her Instagram with messages of congratulations.
The Juno Award winner made the announcement on Instagram on Monday, Nov. 3, in a series of black-and-white photos alongside husband Cole M.G.N.
“Oh hi baby ♥️” posted Jepsen while tagging Toronto photographer Vanessa Heins.

Jepsen and M.G.N., a Grammy-winning musician and record producer from LA, first announced their engagement in September 2024. The couple then got married in an intimate ceremony in New York last month.
This will be the first child for both of them, and fans celebrated the news with a plethora of well-wishes.
“Gah!!! So happy for you both!!! 😭 ❤️” gushed one commenter on Instagram.
“My purest joy and happiness for you three! All of my congrats and love!!” added another.
M.G.N. shared his own joy in Jepsen’s post by leaving three heart-eyes emojis for everyone to see.

Grammy Award nominee and Billboard Music Award winner Jepsen is originally from Mission, B.C., and became a household name with her massive hit “Call Me Maybe.” She has won new fans the world over with her catchy dance and synth-pop hits.
Multiple fans paid tribute to Jepsen’s iconic hit by commenting, “Baby Rae Jepsen.”
