Canada named as having one of the world's most beautiful destinations

Canada has tons of natural beauty, and a spot in the Alberta Rockies has just been named one of the world’s most beautiful destinations.
The ranking of 55 destinations by Travel + Leisure from around the globe includes the Grand Canyon, Machu Picchu, Shark Bay, and, of course, one of Alberta’s picturesque gems.
While the locations aren’t ranked or numbered in any particular order, Banff National Park in the Alberta Rockies appears midway down the Travel+Leisure list, and if you have visited the oldest national park in Canada, you can see why.

Travel + Leisure stated that the Alberta city landed on the list thanks to its “staggering peaks, dense pine forests, hot springs, animals (grizzlies, bighorn sheep, and moose all call the park home), and almost eerily azure glacier-fed lakes, such as the postcard-perfect Peyto Lake.”
Banff itself is no stranger to the spotlight. It has a pretty impressive track record, being named a top travel destination for 2026 by National Geographic,Ā one of the most picturesque places in the world, and was also recognized as one of the most beautiful places in the world by Architectural Digest.
