Perfectly narrated as a timeless Christmas movie we all love, this year’s WestJet’s Christmas Miracle video stayed close to home by surprising people who were affected by the devastating May 2016 forest fire in Fort McMurray.
WestJet put on a ‘Snowflake Soiree’ for residents of the embattled town in November, inviting families down for what residents have called a ‘magical’ holiday evening.
The Canadian airline dropped hundreds of tiny parachutes from the sky onto the crowd of Fort MacMurray residents, and each one contained a free roundtrip ticket to any of the 150 locations worldwide that WestJet flies.
