Westbrook Mall is hosting a FREE International Women's Day celebration

Women should be celebrated every day, but especially on March 8.

Anyone in Calgary hoping to celebrate the women in their lives this International Women’s Day can head over to an event hosted by Westbrook Mall.

The Sunday fun will include a photo booth, a henna artist, face painting, mini makeovers from Adoniaa Beauty, live music, and female entrepreneurs on location at the Centre Court from 1 to 5 pm, according to the event’s Facebook page.

The event is entirely free to attend, though guests can bring cash to purchase local goods from some of Calgary’s female entrepreneurs or to donate for a henna tattoo.

Clothing donations will also be accepted at the event and will go towards the Women In Need Society.

Attendees will have the chance to take home some prizes as Spin To Win giveaways will be available.

This event is suitable for all ages.
