New cafe specializing in handcrafted waffles is opening in Calgary
A popular Jasper breakfast spot, known for its handcrafted waffles, is gearing up to open its first Calgary location soon.
Taking over the previous Donna Mac space, Wafflato Cafe & Lounge will be bringing an expanded all-day menu of Belgian waffles and breakfast dishes to YYC, marking its first expansion outside of Jasper.
Bringing Rocky Mountain hospitality to the city, the spot will, of course, be offering its signature golden Belgian waffles, with both sweet and savoury toppings, classic brunch dishes, and a curated coffee program in partnership with Fratello Coffee Roasters.

In a first for the brand, the Calgary outpost will also offer savoury dishes served through dinner and a new lounge offering beer, wine and creative cocktails to carry Calgarians into the evening.
Wafflato’s YYC location will be celebrating its grand opening on Sunday, Nov. 9, where the first 50 guests will receive free signature waffles.
Wafflato CafƩ & Lounge will be open daily from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m.
