University of Calgary lands in top 10 best Canadian universities | Daily Hive

If you’re looking for an excuse to flex your alma mater, we just found one. A new ranking of the Best Global Universities in Canada just came out, and the University of Calgary made the top 10.

This is the 11th annual U.S. News & World Report Best Global Universities ranking, which aims to provide insight into how universities compare globally. This is meant to help evaluate institutions from around the world, especially considering that more and more students choose to enroll in universities outside their home country.

The Global Universities ranking evaluated schools based on their performance on metrics such as research and their ratings by members of the academic community, both within North America and from around the world.

From there, Canadian universities were numerically ranked based on their positions in the overall Best Global Universities rankings.
