Calgary's most stylish Stampede kickoff party returns next month
The Calgary Stampede is just around the corner, and that means it’s time to plan your looks for the most stylish kickoff party of the season. And it’s all for a great cause.
Ace High Stampede Kickoff is happening on Friday, July 4, at the historic Deane House, with live music, gourmet food and beverages, and more.
The fourth annual event is raising money to support the Trellis Society, a local nonprofit that provides community services in Calgary. Tickets are on sale now.

“When we started the Ace High Stampede Kickoff, it wasn’t just about having a good time (though we do that pretty well, too),” said event founder Shawn Freeman on LinkedIn. “It began back in 2017 with a simple idea: if we’re going to throw a party, let’s raise money too.
“As someone who grew up as a Boys & Girls Club kid, Trellis Society (formerly BGCC) was the obvious choice. Since then, this event has grown into something special. A night to celebrate, connect, and give back to the city.”
The Trellis Society provides essential services in Calgary, such as youth shelters, family programs, and mental health support. Funds raised will directly benefit the people who live in the community.
Ace High Stampede Kickoff
Ace High Stampede Kickoff raised over $100,000 in 2024, bringing its total contribution since the inaugural event to over $224,000.
This year, Maillot Homes is matching net proceeds, up to $50,000. Donations can also be made online.
The festivities begin with a welcome glass of sparkling wine before guests enjoy a mouthwatering array of food and beverages at the Deane House.
Treat yourself to delicious bites, premium cocktails, and an exclusive oyster bar before hitting the dance floor to party along to the acclaimed dance party band, Side One.

Attendees will also get to network with VIP guests and meet leaders from the business community. Don’t forget to wear your finest western wear. This is going to be a Stampede party you won’t forget.
