Get out your metal detectors, because a company just launched a hunt for $300,000 worth of hidden treasure across three Canadian cities.
Gold Hunt has launched three treasure hunts across Calgary, Edmonton, and Vancouver.
In each hunt, treasure seekers will have a chance to find $100,000 worth of treasure buried in a secret location.
If you’re up for the challenge, you could also travel to all three locations to try to find all of the hidden treasure.
You can purchase a map for $25, or a map with clues for $45 on the Goldhunt website, to be released on June 1st at 12:01 am.
The hidden treasure chest is filled with actual gold and silver coins, and the company behind the hunt has plans to expand the hunt across Canada in the future.
So grab your friends and get ready to go on a Goonies-style adventure in real life.
To participate, you must be a Canadian citizen and be the age of majority.
