Canadian sushi restaurant set to open its first Calgary location

A Canadian sushi spot is gearing up to open its first Calgary location soon.

Toro Toro, the Toronto-born sushi restaurant, has revealed it is on its way west with its new Calgary location at 39 Crowfoot Terrace NW.

The spot is known for its fast-casual sushi and poke, all served up in aesthetically pleasing black boxes, perfect for an at-home date night or hanging out with friends.

With five Ontario locations, the new store will be Toro Toro’s first location in Western Canada.

While Toro Toro has not yet revealed its YYC opening date, it has partnered with local spot Thé Moon Tea House to give away 20 Strawberry Matchas every Tuesday for free. It’s limited to one per customer and is available at all Calgary Thé Moon locations until Toro Toro opens.
