Calgary just got a brand-new wine bar in a very familiar spot
As the old saying goes, when one (wine bar) door closes, another (wine bar) door opens.
Tipsie is a brand-new wine bar brought to life by the folks behind Inglewood’s The Eden, and it’s in a very familiar location.
The new bar has taken over the space that was formerly home to Kensington Wine Bar at 1131 Kensington Rd. NW.

As with any wine bar worth its salt, Tipsie offers an extensive wine list with options from around the world and a rotating selection of wines available by the glass. For non-wine drinkers, there is also beer, cocktails and plenty of zero-alcohol options.
To accompany its beverages, the bar also serves up some tasty bar snacks, from carpaccio to whipped foie gras pâté and shrimp cocktail, to name a few.
Tipsie is open daily from 4 p.m. to midnight, so go forth and drink wine.
