Decades-old Calgary bar forced to temporarily close its doors
A Calgary bar that’s been around for over two decades has temporarily closed its doors.
Weaselhead Bar & Grill has revealed that it has been forced to close its doors for the time being due to conflict with its property manager.
In an Instagram post shared on Friday, Sept. 4, the team said there were “irreconcilable differences” with the property manager, and as a result, it would be “pausing operations.”
“We appreciate your understanding during this transition and look forward to welcoming you back once we’re up and running again.”

The neighbourhood watering hole has been a long-standing fixture in the Southwest, having first opened in the late nineties.
It’s remained popular with locals for its daily happy hour specials featuring everything from wing night to steak sandwiches and more.
Weaselhead Bar hasn’t shared an anticipated reopening date, but stay tuned.
