What: Calgary’s annual folk fest is back! Experience 70+ artists playing on seven stages in concerts and collaborative sessions featuring everything from folk to funk to global sounds and fresh hip hop.

What: Even if Folk Fest isn’t your thing, there are two great artists in town this weekend. Check out 98° or Debbie Gibson at the Grey Eagle Event Centre on Friday or Sunday, take your pick!

Unwind with a river float

What: YYC Ice Cream Fest officially kicks off on July 18 and will be running right through to August 18, with more than 30 cafes, restaurants, and scoop shops taking part in the festivities.
