New York-style pizzeria "The Pizza Project" now open in Calgary
If you desire a huge, thick, and crispy slice of New-York style pizza in Calgary, it looks like you won’t have to go far thanks to The Pizza Project.
They offer up beautifully crafted slices in four drool-worthy styles including Cheese, Pepperoni, and a “Grandma” pizza, made with tomato sauce, mozzarella and basil leaves.
If you want to spice things up a notch in pure New-York style fashion, you can try the Spicy Meatball pizza on their menu.
It’s made with all the toppings of the Grandma pizza but also includes crumbled All-Beef meatball, Mike’s Hot Honey, and a touch of olive oil. The best part is, you can customize this bad boy and make it plant-based!

The Pizza Project is located on Kensington Avenue, and they also sell Cheese and Pepperoni pizza by slice.
They are open Wednesday–Sunday from 5 to 10 pm, or until they sell out, which is a pretty common occurrence, so be sure to call ahead and order to avoid disappointment.
