This Calgary hotel just nabbed a SNAZZY prestigious award
One of Calgary’s most luxurious hotels was just named Alberta’s Leading Boutique Hotel for 2025 by the World Travel Awards.
The Dorian Hotel, Autograph Collection, took home the prestigious honour, which recognizes excellence across the global travel and tourism industry. This marks the hotel’s first World Travel Award, highlighting its rise in the hospitality scene.
Winners are chosen through a voting process that includes input from travel professionals, media, and consumers.
Located in the heart of downtown Calgary, the Dorian Hotel is known for its refined guest experiences, design-forward aesthetic, and connection to Calgary’s vibrant energy.

The Dorian Hotel, which was unveiled in 2021 and opened in 2022, was inspired by Oscar Wilde’s 1891 novel The Picture of Dorian Gray. The $125 million 27-storey dual-brand property, featuring both the Autograph Collection and Courtyard Marriott, has quickly become one of Calgary’s most decorated hotels.
The hotel has many amenities, featuring two on-site restaurants, The Wilde on 27, offering stunning skyline views, and Prologue Café, a cozy cafe located on the first floor serving coffee and pastries. Guests can also enjoy a fitness centre and event spaces that are suitable for weddings, meetings, and private gatherings.
It is the first and only hotel in the city to receive a One Michelin Key, along with many other awards for its design, culinary excellence, and guest experiences. The Dorian Hotel also ranked among some of the best hotels in North America in 2024 by Fordor’s Travel Awards.
