Calgary’s cafe scene is booming right now. While plenty of beloved local spots have expanded their presence in the city, there have also been some exciting new additions.

Terre Cafe is one of those new spots that has just opened in Calgary’s University District, where locals can grab coffee on the go or settle down to study.

Tucked inside the Alt Hotel, Terre Cafe offers a light and bright space to work, study, or just relax with a brew and a book.

The cozy spot offers freshly roasted specialty coffee from Calgary’s own Chronicle Coffee Roasters, with both espresso-based drinks and filter coffee.

Alongside its coffee offerings, the new cafe also serves pastries crafted by Manuel Latruwe Belgian Patisserie & Bread Shop, including croissants, pain au chocolat, and brioche.

As the weather gets colder, it’s exciting to see a new, homey spot to gather this fall.
