“Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married,” Swift said in an announcement on Instagram to her 280 million followers.
The announcement post on Instagram has picked up a whopping 3.7 million likes in just 30 minutes.
Kelce appeared to get down on one knee to pop the question in a picture-perfect garden setting.

The Kansas City Chiefs tight end presented Swift with a diamond ring, which rivals his championship rings in size.

Swift and Kelce began dating in 2023, with the singer-songwriter megastar showing up to Kansas City Chiefs games regularly to see her NFL star boyfriend play football. She jetted from Japan to Las Vegas in time to see Kelce win Super Bowl LVIII in February 2024.
Similarly, Kelce was spotted at Swift’s concerts during her wildly successful Eras Tour.

The engagement comes less than two weeks after Swift unveiled her new album, The Life of a Showgirl, on Kelce’s podcast. That album will be released on Oct. 3.
