Calgary is loving its new Afghan street food spot – Taj Kabob.

This 11135 14 Street NE #215 eatery opened over the summer, and folks have been seriously enjoying its selection of modern, halal Afghan eats.

Inspired by the street markets of Kabul, this eatery offers a selection of kabob plates and korma plates.

Diners can expect eats like fresh pan-fried fish, house-made chutney, lamb shank, rice, salata, along with kabob wraps and sandwiches like chicken, beef, and even a Beyond Meat variety.
