Calgary wholesale bakery is set to open its own storefront very soon
A brand-new bakery is set to open in Calgary’s Beltline very soon.
After revealing it would be closing at the end of October, the team behind Biscettes officially handed over the keys at 1516 6th St. SW, with Sweet Life Bake Co. set to take over.
While the name may not be instantly recognizable to some, Sweet Life has been operating as a wholesale bakery supplying to popular spots such as Deville Coffee. But now, it’s finally set to open its own storefront.
“After many years of only wholesale baking, we are now branching out in search of some more creative freedom,” the team said in an Instagram post.

The bakery has been churning out delicious goods, including cookies, cakes, scones, and even homemade pop tarts.
While an official opening date hasn’t been shared, the Sweet Life team said they’re aiming for mid-November.
