We don’t know whether the weather will be wonderful or worrisome later this month as summer comes to a close, but weĀ doĀ know that the forecast has at least one more weekend of sunshine left in store for us out here in YYC.
It’s been a tumultuous season as far as ol’ Mother Nature is concerned, to be sure, and while trading smoky skies in for less-than-optimal temperatures isn’t the worst deal to make, we’re happy to see some sunshine on the horizon.

Wednesday is starting things off on the right foot with sunny skies and a high of 22Ā°C, with the temperature getting cranked up come Saturday with a high of 23Ā°C that feels a little closer to 25Ā°C, according to The Weather Network’s seven-day forecast.
Friday finds itself with a nice and steady 22Ā°C, while Sunday ends the weekend off with a high of 20Ā°C.
There is a slight chance of precipitation throughout the weekend, though with only a 20 to 30% chance of rain, we’ll take those odds any day of the week.
You might want to pack an umbrella for later, however, seeing as Monday and Tuesday are both sitting at a 70% chance of precipitation.
If you’re trying to pinpoint exactly which day to plan your last hurrah (and finally throw on that summer outfit that has been just waiting for its time to shine) Saturday is your best bet, as there isn’t expected to be a cloud in the sky.
Catch us by the river, because this is not a weekend to waste!
