
It has been a long, cold winter out here in Calgary, and while the current state of the world isn’t exactly the brightest, this past weekend showed that the world spins and the seasons change just as they always have.
Temperatures reached the high teens for Calgarians, thawing out what was left of the stubborn snow in even the most shaded spots throughout the city.

The Elbow and Bow Rivers are running free of ice, and while it would be incredibly Calgary-like for another big snowfall to hit sometime in the next few weeks, we can safely say that spring has sprung for YYC.
