With August coming to an end, excitement is starting to build for another season of Calgary Flames hockey.
The Flames begin training camp in September, with the puck dropping on preseason action Sept. 21. The regular-season opener is set for Oct. 8 on the road in Edmonton, while Calgary’s home opener is three days later, on Oct. 11.
Tickets go on sale to the general public Friday at 10 a.m.
Pre-sale tickets became available on Tuesday, giving us a sneak peek at prices.
The lowest price to get you into the Saddledome is $53.50. That’s available for outings against the Columbus Blue Jackets (Nov. 5), San Jose Sharks (Nov. 13), Minnesota Wild (Dec. 4), Buffalo Sabres (Dec. 8), Seattle Kraken (Jan. 5), St. Louis Blues (March 18) and Anaheim Ducks (March 26).
Prices do vary depending on the game, though.
The cheapest home-opener seat is listed for $78.50 in the press-level section. The cheapest tickets available in the second bowl are going for $121.50, with plenty of others listed at $184.50. Prices in the lower bowl begin at $211.50, while there are several others up for grabs at $270.50.

The date many Flames fans will have circled on their calendars is Dec. 27, in what will mark the first Battle of Alberta at the Saddledome in 2025-26. To no one’s surprise, those are the most expensive single-game seats of the season, with press-level tickets beginning at $129.50.

Another opponent that always draws a big crowd is the Toronto Maple Leafs, who will visit the Saddledome on Feb. 2. Prices are up for that game as well, with seats beginning at $113.50.
The nice thing for Flames fans is that, compared to many other Canadian markets, these prices are incredibly cheap. Take the Vancouver Canucks, for example, who have just five games this coming season where tickets can be found for less than $100. The cheapest tickets to see the Leafs in Vancouver are going for Ā $243.
Fans in Calgary wanting to capitalize on the cheap prices will want to begin doing so sooner rather than later, as this coming season will be the second last at the Saddledome. The Flames will be moving into their new arena, Scotia Place, for the 2027-28 season, where prices are expected to rise in price.
