Popular Korean fried chicken restaurant reopens in Calgary

Just a few weeks after its closure, Seoul Fried Chicken is officially back in business in Calgary.
The Edmonton-based Korean fried chicken spot shared the exciting update on Instagram that it had reopened its 4th Street SW outpost.
“Calgary, we’re back and better than ever,” the restaurant said in its post.

As well as news about the reopening, Seoul Fried Chicken also shared that it would be returning to YYC, complete with a revamped menu. Diners will be able to enjoy its wide selection of bone-in crispy fried chicken, chicken tenders and SFC sandwiches, which come in 11 signature house flavours.
In June, Calgarians shared images on Facebook of signage that was reportedly spotted at Seoul Fried Chicken’s Mission location, including a notice of termination outlining issues including a “breach of operating procedures,” “under-reporting of sales,” “outstanding Ongoing License fees,” and the failure to pay the Canada Revenue Agency for substantial amounts owing.
Its Mission outpost was listed as temporarily closed on Google, but now, the spot is back open to the public. Its Beddington location, however, has been listed as permanently closed.
