New breakfast restaurant serving Filipino and Canadian classics opens in Calgary
A Calgary-born breakfast spot has just opened its second location, where it’s serving up both Filipino and Canadian-inspired treats.
Rise N’ Shine Breakfast Place, the popular Calgary spot, has just opened its second location, this time heading to the city’s northeast.
The restaurant offers homestyle breakfasts inspired by both classic Filipino flavours and classic Canadian dishes.

On the menu, Calgarians will be able to enjoy its Longanisa sausage, served with garlic rice, a fried egg and mango salsa, or its Ube French toast served with ube cream cheese and drizzled with condensed milk.
Rise N’ Shine opened its first outpost in Forest Lawn in 2020, so it’s exciting to see a brand-new location come to life.
The spot will be open from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. every day.
