All-day breakfast lovers rejoice – Red’s Diner is opening a third location in Kensington.

The diner, known for its epic breakfast spreads and comfortable atmosphere, will be opening its doors 286 – 10th Street NW, in the Lido Building.

While they have yet to release an official opening date, Red’s has posted on its own social media accounts with their progress, and they’ve also responded to fans through Instagram teasing that the new spot will be open, “soon, very soon.”

On January 18, the diner’s Facebook account mentioned that the third location could be open as soon as Sunday, January 22 – but reiterated that people should continue to check all Red’s Diner social channels for updates.

Diners can expect the same Red’s atmosphere plus a patio and a barista bar. The new location will be open from Monday to Thursday from 7 am to 3 pm, and Friday to Sunday from 7 am to 4 pm.

With its other two diners currently in Ramsay and 4th Street, Red’s is ready to open its doors to hungry customers in a new neighbourhood, writing on their website that Kensington has “become synonymous with cute independent boutiques and the hottest bars, restaurants, bookstores, and trendy shops.” This made their decision to open a third location here easy, as the beloved neighbourhood diner is a perfect fit for the crowd in the area.
