Calgary's Rec Room is hosting a doubles ping pong tournament

Think you’re something of a ping pong legend?

The Rec Room is giving you a shot at proving just that, as they’re hosting a doubles ping pong tournament on Tuesday, January 23.

You’ll need to trust in your partner to come out on top, but if the two of you can prove yourselves worthy, there’s more than $500 in prizes up for grabs.

Registration is $10 per person, but free for any Scene members – meaning you can save yourself that purple by signing up for free beforehand.

A name for your dynamic duo is expected as well, and we highly recommend any ping pong-related pun you can think of.

Anyone hoping to join in on the action need only register by emailing [email protected] – though the Rec Room’s Facebook page stresses there are limited spots available, so registering ASAP is your best bet.

Trusty paddles are allowed to be brought along for the tournament, though competitors must use the ping pong balls provided by the venue – and there will be paddles available for anyone who doesn’t have their own.
