If you are hoping to take a trip to a gorgeous waterfall in Alberta, you may need to brace yourself for a view that’s a little further away than usual.
The viewing platform and stairs at Ram Falls Provincial Park in Western Alberta are currently closed due to the poor condition of the structures, according to Alberta Parks.
The Province added that going beyond the barriers is dangerous and unsafe, and that the “Government of Alberta is committed to ensuring all visitors have a safe experience in its parks, and all visitors are prohibited from going beyond the barriers set in place.”

“Alberta Parks is working hard to ensure repairs are completed in a timely manner. We apologize for any inconveniences this may cause to your experience,” the advisory added.
Ram Falls is approximately 315 kilometres southwest of Edmonton and approximately 266 kilometres northwest of Calgary.
