Beloved Pakistani bakery chain has just opened its first Calgary location
A popular Pakistani bakery chain, dating back 75 years, has just opened its first Calgary location.
Rahat Bakery opened its doors at 4150 109th Ave. NE, where it will be serving its authentic Pakistani baked goods to Calgarians.
Founded in the city of Lahore in 1950, Rahat has since expanded to over 40 locations across Pakistan as well as locations in Canada, the UnitedĀ Arab Emirates, and the United States.

The spot offers a wide selection of Pakistani sweets and confectionery, including freshly baked cakes, cookies and pastries. One of its most popular goodies is its pineapple and almond cakes.
For those looking for savoury snacks, Rahat offers everything from patties and pies to samosas, sandwiches, and more.
Rahat currently has three outposts across Ontario, with its new Calgary spot being the brand’s first foray into Western Canada.
