Popular Czech-inspired foodie pop-up returns to Calgary this month

An incredibly popular series of pop-ups in Calgary is returning for a huge celebration this month.
Prasátko, known for its Czech-inspired eats with a uniquely Albertan twist, is turning one year old and will be honouring the milestone with its next set of dates on January 31 and February 1.
Fresh off a successful collaboration dinner with Posto last month, Prasátko will be back at The Prairie Emporium with a host of new dishes to try, including honey-glazed roast chicken with paprika sauce and pearl onions gremolata, twice-roasted potatoes with tomato gravy, and BBQ pork langos.
Classic dishes such as the pickled Camembert, goulash, and sausage platter will also be returning.
For dessert, diners won’t want to miss the pear and butterscotch bread pudding.
To beat the winter chill, the pop-up will have winter-spiced and spiked apple cider and a brand-new cocktail inspired by McDonald’s iconic orange drink, with Becherovka Orange, Aperol, soda, and lime.
Prasátko will run from 6 to 10 pm on January 31 and from 11 am to 2 pm on February 1, so make sure to arrive early to avoid any disappointment.
