Porter launches new direct flight from Calgary to sunny desert destination

Get your winter travel plans in order, because Porter Airlines just announced a new direct flight from Calgary to a sunny, desert destination.
It will be the airline’s first international flights out of Alberta, with the new route out of Calgary heading to Phoenix.
The Calgary to Phoenix route will take flight on Dec. 20, and will operate daily. Our pals up in Edmonton will also see four new flights to sunny destinations, including Puerto Vallarta, Los Cabos, Las Vegas, and Phoenix.

In total, Porter will operate nearly 5,000 flights to sun destinations for the upcoming winter season, representing an increase of more than 150 per cent compared to the previous year.
On every flight, passengers will get to enjoy Porter’s signature service, including no middle seats, complimentary wine and beer served in glassware and premium snacks. Routes operated with the new Embraer E195-E2 also have free, fast Wi-Fi available for everyone.
