Popular local small-batch donut brand is opening its first Calgary location
A new donut shop offering pillowy soft brioche donuts has just opened in Calgary.
Pâte Sucrée YYC has opened its first brick-and-mortar donut shop in the city, where it will be offering fresh brioche donuts and coffee.
The donut brand launched four years ago, and customers can pre-order donuts with a ton of unique fillings such as cream brulee, tiramisu, ube and guava jam.
Now, Pâte Sucrée has its own storefront at 485 8th St. SW, making it the perfect spot to grab a sweet treat and coffee before strolling along the Bow River.

“We believe in crafting donuts that are more than just a tasty treat. Each donut we create is a labor of love, meticulously handcrafted using the finest ingredients,” the Pâte Sucrée website says.
“We take pride in our attention to detail, from the selection of high-quality flours and sweeteners to the incorporation of premium fillings and toppings.”
Pâte Sucrée YYC is opening from 9:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday and until 1 p.m. on Sunday.
