It was the first time the NBA Finals landed in Toronto, and with it, the first time O Canada was sung at the historic event.
Before Thursday night’s big win, The Tenors, who hail from Ontario and BC, took to centre court with their mics to perform Canada’s national anthem ahead of the Raptors game.
With mounties standing by, and flags flying high, the Tenors’ rendition of the Canadian anthem got everyone standing, and singing, with pride.
Fans inside, and outside at Jurassic Park, joined in being part of both Canadian and NBA history.
