One of Calgary’s favourite spots for Mexican bites is set to open a new location this summer.

Native Tongues Taqueria, the popular eatery known for its tacos, quesadillas and more, is opening its latest outpost in Bridgeland, with the new spot slated to open this summer.

As a firm favourite in YYC’s restaurant scene for over a decade, Native Tongues is inspired by the food and culture found in Mexico City. Alongside its hefty menu, the spot also offers one of the city’s most extensive selections of tequila and mezcal.

Since opening its first location in Victoria Park back in 2015, Native Tongues has become a firm favourite for many Calgarians, with locations in Britannia and the University District opening over the course of the years.

While there’s no official opening date for the Bridgeland space just yet, we’ll be waiting not-so-patiently.
