The Calgary Police Service has safely located 12-year-old girl Tianna Medicine Shield.
Police put a call out to the public for help in locating Tianna on Tuesday after she was reported missing on August 22, with a number of leads being ruled out in the days that followed.
According to a Wednesday morning release from CPS, the 12-year-old girl was located on Tuesday night, mere hours after the public’s assistance was called upon.
“The Calgary Police Service would like to thank the media and the public for their assistance in this case,” the release states.
